1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next. This policy also covers other similar techniques we use, such as the browser’s local storage.

2. Technical cookies (always on)

They are needed for the website to work and do not require your consent (art. 22.2 LSSI-CE). They are set by SmoothSeen, on its own domain:

NameWhat it is forDuration
sessionidKeeps you signed in when you log into your account.Until you close the browser (two weeks at most).
csrftokenProtects forms against forged requests from other websites. One year.
messagesCarries a notice from one page to the next, for example when you come back from signing in with Google.Until the notice is shown.
NEXT_LOCALERemembers the language you have chosen.Until you close the browser.
analytics_consent (local storage)Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we do not ask you again.Until you change your choice or clear your browser data.
Session storageRemembers the website you were about to analyse while you sign up or log in.Until you close the tab.

3. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept them, Google Analytics, by Google, sets these cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. Without your consent, no Google Analytics script is loaded.

NameWhat it is forDuration
_gaTells one visitor from another without identifying them. Two years.
_ga_<ID>Keeps the state of the visit in Google Analytics. Two years.

Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area. More information in Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

4. Third-party pages

When you pay or sign in with Google, you go to Stripe’s or Google’s pages, which set their own cookies under their own policies. SmoothSeen does not load their scripts on this website.

5. How to accept them, reject them or change your mind

The first time you visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies; rejecting them is as easy as accepting them. You can change your choice at any time in «Cookie preferences», at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block the technical ones, you will not be able to log into your account.

6. Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this policy and, if we add any that require consent, we will ask you again. How we process personal data is explained in the privacy policy.
